BIO
Andy Ainscough is formerly a Semi Professional Rugby League player who for years worked the summers as an outdoor instructor and sports coach then worked the winters in construction and machinery removal. Andy founded the Surf Snowdonia Project in late 2012 after the family group had bought the 55 acre industrial site when it closed in 2007. Within 12 months our new company achieved full planning consent and had a fully worked up engineering model ready to move the diggers onto site for the build. The opportunity to combine Surfing and Business became a reality and Surf Snowdonia opened in Summer 2015.

Picture this. A perfect lozenge-shaped fresh-water lagoon, roughly the size of six football pitches, set in the lush, green Conwy Valley in the lee of the Snowdonia mountains. Breathe it in.
